Your Handmade Computer Printable Album

Were you lucky enough to receive our Classic Journal for Christmas or are you thinking of buying one? The handmade computer printable album can be used in a variety of ways. Here are some suggestions on how best to use it to its full potential!

Beautiful, handmade pages of highly textured, natural Lokta paper

Natural Lokta paper, pre-hole punched and kept in place by 3 screw posts

Printing Images Directly onto the Page

  1. Place album on a flat surface, face-up.
  2. Carefully remove screws and lift top cover.
  3. Take out sheets of paper, choose which side to print on (one side is smoother than the other) and place in your printer feed tray
  4. Select print options and print!

Remember: the hole punched side of the A4 page will be obscured when it is put back into the album. Set its margin to approx. 35mm before planning your page

Printing Labels onto the Page

  1. You will need a Word Processing or DTP programme.
  2. Select photographs and measure them.
  3. Create bordered text boxes 10mm wider and deeper than photos (most packages allow you to select a thickness, line style and colour).
  4. Position text boxes where you wish to place photos. It is worth printing on plain paper first to ensure they are in the correct place. Add labels in preferred font to bottom of textbox.
  5. Select print options and print!

Remember: the hole punched side of the A4 page will be obscured when it is put back into the album. Set its margin to approx. 35mm before planning your page

Printing Labels onto the Page with Mulberry Paper Mounts

  1. You will need a Word Processing or DTP programme.
  2. Position text boxes beside where you wish to place photos. It is worth printing on plain paper first to ensure they are in the correct place.
  3. Select print options and print.
  4. Fold Mulberry Paper to approx. 50mm wider and deeper than photo.
  5. Mositen edge of fold and tear to create feathered edge.
  6. Stick Mulberry Paper onto page and then add photos.

Remember: the hole punched side of the A4 page will be obscured when it is put back into the album. Set its margin to approx. 35mm before planning your page
