How to navigate the site
To help you navigate this site easily there are five navigation tools to chose from:
Left-hand side menu navigation
Using this menu, you can easily navigate around categories, sub-categories and product groups
The site is split into 4 main product categories: Fibres and Yarns, Creative Supplies, Make Your Own Papers and Hand-Made Papers. Each of these categories is further broken down into sub-categories and groups
Special Offers and Samples are also readily accessible using the left-hand navigation
Links at the top left of the page
You can click on The PaperShed logo to return to the home page from any other page on the site
The text links beneath the logo take you directly to the important information areas of the site
The basket details pod at the top right of the page
From any page, you can instantly see the number of items contained in, and sub total (excluding postage) of your basket
The view basket link takes you to the basket page
The checkout link takes you straight to the payment area
The 'you are here' banner at the top right of the page
this gives details on what page you are currently looking at
it also provides links to pages further up the hierarchy of categories

How to place an order
We offer 3 methods of placing an order:
Online - Probably the quickest and easiest way to order if you know what you are buying.
Simply add all the items you want to buy to your online shopping basket, then proceed to the checkout. If you have not already registered with the PapedShed, then you will be prompted to do so.
You will then be asked to choose a delivery address and provide your payment details. All details are collected via a 128bit SSL connection - for more details on our security measures, please click here. After placing your order, you will receive an automated email giving details of your order. You will also be able to track your order by returning to this website and logging in to the members area.
Over the telephone - for those who like the personal touch, or just need some advice before buying.
We would be delighted to hear from you. Please call 01483 565800 and speak to one of the PaperShed people!
Pay by post - ideal for those who don't have a credit/debit card, or would prefer to pay by cheque or postal order.
Add all the items you would like to your basket in the normal way, exactly as if you were ordering online. Proceed to the checkout, and select a delivery address, and then proceed to the payment area. At the bottom of the page, you will see the option to 'pay by post'.
Click on this button and your order will be sent to us and you will be sent an email with details on how to make payment. On receipt of your cheque/postal order, we will dispatch the goods as normal and you will be able to track the progress of your order on this website.
Payment options and VAT
Once you've decided what you want to buy, you can choose to pay using any of the following payment options:

Cheque or postal order (denominated in Pounds Sterling)
In accordance with the laws governing members of the European Union, we are obliged to charge VAT (Value Added Tax) on all orders delivered to destinations in member countries of the EU. All retail prices on this website include VAT at the rate of 17.5%.
Goods that are dispatched to addresses outside of the EU are generally not subject to VAT. Prior to charging your card, VAT will be deducted from those orders being delivered outside of the EU. However, when ordering goods for overseas delivery, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; however, there is seldom any charge for orders under $250 USD, or equivalent.
Order Tracking
All orders placed on this website can be tracked from within your personal members section. If you are logged in to the site, a link will be shown to this section under the 'Members Area' pod on the left hand side. If you are not logged in, please do so by entering your email address and password into the appropriate boxes and click Log In.
